Pizza and Pie make the world right

The Stable – Unit 1 Orion, 115 John Bright Street, Birmingham, B1 1BE

Located near New Street Station this bright modern restaurant with long tables and bench seating is a good location for a pre-show meal. If you prefer to sit at the smaller tables at the back of the restaurant, it is best to book.

The Stable does not offer a pre-theatre menu but if you have tickets for a performance on a Tuesday check out the “Tuck in Tuesday” deal.  This menu deal is excellent value for money offering pizza, a salad bowl and a drink for £10.00 per person from the “Tuck in Tuesday menu”.

What The Stable offers:

  • The Stable offers a good selection of pizzas with a thin sourdough crust, made to order, with homemade tomato sauce and toppings using fresh ingredients. Prices range from £8.50-£12.50
  • A smaller selection of pies are also available. These are deep filled and arrive with a small side salad, tomato chutney, pickled onions and herbed wedges and at £9.50 per plate, are good value for money.
  • Starters, deserts, a children’s menu and a small selection of side orders are also available.
  • The drinks menu offers an extensive selection of ciders, with a smaller selection of beers and wines (wine served by the glass, carafe or bottle).

Service is quick (order and pay for food and drinks at the bar) and staff are friendly and helpful.

If you enjoy homemade Pizza with a thin base I would suggest you try the food at the Stable.

It’s worth bearing in mind as with all Birmingham city centre restaurants, the Stable is very busy Friday and the weekends, in order to ensure a table of your choice, booking is recommended.
