Situated in the stylish Mailbox shopping centre, Red Peppers is a modern, bright, spacious restaurant.
There are several tables outside, under a canopy as well as ample seating inside over two levels.
We sat at a cosy table for two upstairs overlooking the canal basin.
Drink menu includes a good selection of wines beers and soft drinks, special offers were available such as 2 for 1 on classic cocktails or a bottle of processco for £15.95.
Red Peppers currently does not have a pre-theatre menu, however there is an extensive menu of dishes from around the world, including vegetarian and gluten free options.
Main plates start from £7.95 (margherita pizza) up to £21.50 (rib eye steak)
We both chose the chicken souvlaki, (£12.95) which came accompanied with Greek salad and garlic flat bread. The food was well presented, arrived hot and the portions were generous. DT struggled to finish her salad but I am not sure the side of chips helped! The manager also mentioned that you can swap the salad for something different e.g. rice.
Staff were very friendly and professional, and the service was excellent.
I would recommend Red Peppers for groups or couples who do not have the same tastes, as the extensive menu really does have something for everyone.
